A Little About Me

  • I look for ways to do work that makes a positive difference.

A lot of what I do is about finding places to amplify or accelerate good ideas that are bigger than just me. I think we all have so much positive to give, and if we’re willing to give it, our families, teams, and communities will all benefit.

  • I've lived in the same area code my whole life. The 805.

There’s something special about being deeply connected to a specific place or community. I was raised in Santa Barbara, attended college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and now work in Thousand Oaks, all in 805. It hasn’t stopped me from exploring outside my comfort zone, but I also love investing in making my home the strongest community it can be.

  • I love cleaning and organizing.

I recently bought a mop that I was very excited about. If you were to visit my home, one of the first things you notice might be the cleanliness and organization of our space. I really enjoy the act of cleaning and putting things in their place, and creating a comfortable environment for my loved ones.

  • I am a connector and think about the world in terms of systems.

We’re all part of many systems, whether it’s our social groups, school, or work. What we do effects other parts of the system in ways we may never expect. I see myself as a lifelong studnent, constantly learning and trying to make the most of my roles, whatever they may be.

WHO I AM

People describe me as..

  • Optimistic.

There’s a lot of good out there if you look for it. I lean into imagining all of the great things that are possible, even if takes a lot of work and a little luck to get there.

  • Proactive.

I’ve always had a “I can figure it out” mentality. I love learning new things and welcome complex problems and challenges that require innovative thinking to solve. With patience and resourcefulness, we’re capable of a lot more than we realize.

  • Thoughtful.

I try to make the most of moments and opportunities in my life. Whether it’s picking a flower for my daughter on a bike ride or finding ways to support new members of my team, I try to use my presence to make the people and ideas around me shine.

  • Adventurous.

I used to have a motorcycle, and have been known to backpack up mountains. I’ve always sought out bold experiences, and I love seeing where an open mind and daring attitude can take me.
