  • We’re Bringing the “I Am A Scientist” Print Shop In House

    Thanks to support from Reshma Kewalramani & Abhijit Kulkarni. Bringing a lot of our production in house will give us much more flexibility and freedom to reach teachers and students. This print shop will operate out of our Clubhouse in SF.

  • Vertex Cleared the List in 2023

    Vertex helped us “Clear the List” and provided over 10,000 posters to classrooms around the nation.

  • Inspiring the Next Generation of Biotech Professionals

    I Am A Scientist partnered with LabCentral Ignite in Boston, Massachusetts to amplify the stories and career pathways of biotech professionals from across backgrounds and experiences.

I Am A Scientist thrives because of the educators that make up our community and bring our resources to life.

Our Educator Ambassador program is designed to build meaningful relationships with the educators we serve and help increase the visibility of I Am A Scientist within teaching communities. Educator Ambassadors apply and are chosen as exemplary educators responsible for doing things like helping moderate our social media, co-host professional development events, and amplify our resources.

How do I become an ambassador?

Fill out our interest form!

We look for new ambassadors at the start of each year. We request that you fill out an ‘Interest Form’ that gives us details like where and what you teach, your experience assisting with events or social media, and how you use the I Am A Scientist program in your classroom. The interest form will be put out on RISE, our newsletter, and on social media. Stay tuned!

Are there other ways for teachers to get involved?

Absolutely!

By being a member of our RISE community, following us on social media, or subscribing to our newsletter, we will share ways to be involved with the program depending on our needs.
