AMBASSADORS

Educator Ambassadors

Help increase the visibility of I Am A Scientist as an Educator Ambassador.

I Am A Scientist thrives because of the educators that make up our community and bring our resources to life.

Our Educator Ambassador program is designed to build meaningful relationships with the educators we serve and help increase the visibility of I Am A Scientist within teaching communities. Educator Ambassadors apply and are chosen as exemplary educators responsible for doing things like helping moderate our social media, co-host professional development events, and amplify our resources.

  • WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“Learning about these diverse and lesser-known scientists was meaningful because it showed the more human side of science. It was comforting to see that not all of them had always known that they wanted to be a scientist."

  • WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“Students are looking at @IAmASTEM to see the diversity within science! It’s so great to hear “I like doing those things too!” when they’re looking at what the scientists like to do in their free time!”

Katlynn Templeton, Liberty Memorial Central Middle School, Kansas

  • WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“Our work is only possible because of groups like you - your resources are truly amazing! You’ve given the next generation of scientists so many inspiring role models to learn about. We can only hope there are even more profiles to be shared sometime in the future. THANK YOU!!”

Kelley Gorman, Middle School Science Teacher, Alexandria, Virginia
