Mentoring Students

I love mentoring students! Not only do I get to teach my students new things, but knowing that I’m helping someone else also boosts my confidence. Mentoring is also my way of paying it forward. I wouldn’t be here without the wonderful mentors that I’ve had throughout my life, including my sister. On days like today, I work with a program called the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program. Here, I work with students and guide them as they conduct their very own field-based research projects.
