Adventuring Outdoors

A lot of ecology goes hand in hand with outdoor recreation, but it’s different from your average camping trip. On days like these, I have to be ready to withstand uncomfortable situations, such as hiking up mountains in hot and humid temperatures. Once I’ve reached my destination, it’s usually time to start sampling bats. This can take anywhere from three to four hours and requires me to be very precise and write everything down.
